📘 Program Overview

The Communication in Healthcare program is designed for internationally trained healthcare professionals and students who want to strengthen their English communication skills in clinical and healthcare environments.

Participants develop practical language skills used in:

  • Patient interactions

  • Clinical discussions

  • Medical presentations

  • Healthcare documentation

  • Interdisciplinary teamwork

This program combines academic English with healthcare-specific terminology and real-world applications.

  • Master medical vocabulary in anatomy, physiology & pathophysiology

  • Improve fluency in professional discussions and presentations

  • Participate in healthcare-themed technical visits and talks

  • Develop confidence communicating with patients and healthcare teams

  • Optional Observership in Healthcare (4-week package only)

🧑‍⚕️ The Observership Experience (4-Week Package)

Through the international learner program partnership, the observership allows participants to:

  • Access healthcare policies and procedures

  • Observe patient and clinical activities

  • Receive mentorship from healthcare staff

  • Engage in one-on-one knowledge translation coaching

  • Receive a Certificate of Completion

⚠ Observership is observational only. No direct patient care is permitted.

🗓 Weekly Class Schedule (Weeks 1–3)

Monday to Friday

  • 8:30 AM – 11:15 AM

  • 11:45 AM – 1:00 PM

💰 Pricing (Reference)

  • 3 Weeks (Study Only): $2,490 CAD

  • 4 Weeks (Study + Observership): $3,965 CAD

  • Academic and/or professional experience in healthcare

  • B2 (Upper-Intermediate) English level
