📘 Program Overview

The TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) program prepares participants (18+) to become effective ESL teachers, especially for those who wish to teach abroad.

Teaching English overseas remains a strong global market with diverse career opportunities. This course equips participants with practical teaching tools, methodologies, and real classroom strategies.

Requirement: High-Intermediate (B2) level in English.

🎯 Learning Objectives

Participants will learn to:

  • Explain English grammar, syntax, and idiomatic language clearly

  • Apply pedagogical best practices in ESL teaching

  • Evaluate student progress using effective feedback methods

  • Teach the four core skills: speaking, writing, listening, and reading

  • Design lesson plans and instructional materials

  • Apply metacognitive strategies in teaching and learning

  • Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Online)

  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (In-person)

Format: Hybrid


Total Hours: 120 hours (includes class time, practicum observation, lesson preparation, homework, and coursework)

💰 Tuition

$675 CAD for the full 120-hour program

🎓 Certificate

Students who successfully complete the program will receive an electronic Certificate of Completion via email.

Eligibility:

  • Minimum 90% attendance required

  • Paper certificate available upon request
