ILAC Young Adult Programs

Ages 15–18

ILAC offers specialized Young Adult English programs designed for students aged 15 to 18 who want to improve their English while studying in Canada.

Programs are available at ILAC’s campuses in Toronto and Vancouver, two of Canada’s most dynamic and multicultural cities. Students learn in modern classrooms while experiencing life in an international learning community.

These programs follow the same academic structure as ILAC’s adult courses, helping young learners develop strong English skills in a supportive environment.

Important:
ILAC language programs are not eligible for Post-Graduation Work Permits (PGWP).

Program Structure

Young Adult students can join full-time academic English programs designed to accelerate language development.


Full-Time Young Adult English

• 30 lessons per week
• Structured academic curriculum
• Interactive classroom learning
• Opportunities to focus on specialized subjects
 

Programs are offered in two schedules:

Morning Program (Year-Round)
Classes typically run during the morning hours throughout the year.

Afternoon Program (Summer Only)
Available during June, July, and August.
 

English Specializations

Students may choose specialized learning tracks as part of their program.
 

Specializations are:

• included in the curriculum
• assigned based on English level
• adjustable during the first week of study

Students who complete a specialization may request a certificate after four weeks of study.
 

Programs Available

Young Adult students can study in several English learning tracks, including:

• General English
• Cambridge English Preparation
• IELTS Preparation
• University Pathway

These programs help students develop the language skills required for future academic studies and international opportunities.
 

Teen Programs & Activities

ILAC also offers teen-focused programs that combine English learning with cultural and recreational activities.

Available options include:

• Teen Summer Program
• Teen Winter Program

Students participate in language classes while also enjoying organized activities and excursions, allowing them to practice English in real-life situations.
 

Additional Study Options

Some students may choose extended study experiences such as:

• GAP Year Programs
• Higher Education Preparation

These programs help students strengthen their academic English and explore future education opportunities abroad.
