Study Pathways in Canada (More than 6 months - Need Study Permit)

For participants planning longer academic experiences, Nusa Connexion provides guidance for study pathways in Canada.

These programs may include:

  • language preparation programs

  • college or university pathways

  • professional and continuing education programs

Each pathway requires careful planning to ensure alignment with academic background and immigration requirements.
 

Our Current Partners who offer this pathway:

  • McGill University School of Continuing Studies – professional certificates, executive programs, and micro-credentials

  • Vanier College Language School – language training and preparatory programs

 

  • Study + Co-op Pathways (Will need different Permit)

Some programs in Canada combine academic learning with structured work experience through co-op placements.

These programs allow students to gain:

  • practical industry exposure

  • professional experience

  • workplace skills in Canada

Co-op opportunities depend on the program and institutional structure.

Our Current Partners who offer this pathway:

  • ILSC & Greystone College Education Group – language and career programs

  • ILAC – language and pathway programs 

  • Humber College International (In Progress)

Additional institutional partnerships may be added as the network expands.

Study + Co-op + PGWP Pathways (Will need different Permit)

Certain Canadian programs may provide eligibility for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) after graduation.

These pathways combine:

  • academic study

  • co-op or practical experience

  • potential post-graduation work opportunities

Eligibility for work permits is determined by Canadian immigration regulations at the time of application.

Immigration & Legal Support

For pathways involving study in Canada, Nusa Connexion works with Canadian immigration law firms who provide professional support related to:

  • study permit applications

  • permit extensions

  • co-op work permits

  • post-graduation work permit (PGWP)

Immigration decisions remain under the authority of the Canadian government.
Legal services are handled directly by licensed professionals.

Travel & Relocation Support

For participants traveling abroad for EduTravel programs or study pathways, Nusa Connexion provides guidance to help them prepare for international travel and relocation.

Our support may include assistance with travel planning, arrival preparation, and practical information to help participants transition smoothly to their destination.
 

Travel Preparation

Participants may receive guidance related to:

  • booking international flights

  • travel preparation checklists

  • arrival planning for Canada or other destinations

  • coordination of travel dates with program schedules
     

Health Insurance for International Students

Many institutions require students to have health insurance during their studies.

Nusa Connexion provides guidance on:

  • selecting appropriate student insurance plans

  • understanding provincial health coverage where applicable

  • meeting institutional insurance requirements

Insurance policies are issued directly by our partner, licensed insurance provider or being provided by the education institution.
 

Arrival & Settlement Preparation

Participants studying in Canada may also receive practical guidance to help them prepare for daily life abroad, including:

preparing accommodation arrangements

  • transportation from the airport to housing

  • basic orientation about living in Canada

  • access to local resources and student services
     

EduTravel Group Coordination

For EduTravel programs, Nusa Connexion may assist with:

  • group travel coordination

  • program itineraries

  • arrival logistics

  • communication with host institutions
     

Accommodation Guidance

Participants may receive guidance in identifying suitable housing options, such as:

  • homestay programs with local families

  • student residences

  • shared apartments

  • short-term accommodation upon arrival

This guidance helps participants prepare for their stay in Canada.
 

Important Note

Nusa Connexion provides guidance and coordination support related to travel preparation and relocation.

Services such as flights, insurance policies, and accommodation contracts are arranged directly with licensed providers or partner institutions.
