Program Overview
The Bilingual Summer Camp for Teens at Vanier College offers students aged 12 to 17 the opportunity to improve both English and French during the same summer program.
Located in Montreal, one of the world’s most vibrant bilingual cities, this program allows students to experience learning in Canada’s two official languages in an immersive and engaging environment.
Students attend English classes in the morning and French classes in the afternoon, creating a full-day bilingual learning experience.
This program is ideal for students who want to strengthen their communication skills while gaining exposure to both languages in an international environment.

Learning Experience
Students participate in two intensive language programs delivered by the Vanier College Language School.
Each program focuses on building language skills through:
• speaking and oral communication
• reading comprehension
• writing and composition
• interactive discussions and group activities
Classes are organized in small groups to ensure students receive individual attention and meaningful practice time.
Students are placed into groups based on age and language proficiency, typically:
• Ages 12 – 14
• Ages 15 – 17
Daily Bilingual Schedule
Students attend both language programs during the same day.
Morning Session: English Intensive Summer Camp
9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Afternoon Session: French Intensive Summer Camp
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
This structure allows students to experience full immersion in both languages throughout the day.
Summer 2026 Program Dates
July 6 – August 7, 2026
Students may register for any combination of one to five weeks, depending on their availability.
Friday Cultural Excursions
Every Friday, students participate in guided excursions in Montreal.
These outings allow participants to practice their language skills while exploring the city and experiencing Canadian culture.
Examples may include:
• Biodome visits
• Mount Royal hiking
• cultural and educational activities in Montreal
On excursion days, students proceed directly to the meeting location in the morning and may return home at the end of the activity.
Certificates of Completion
Upon completion of the program, students may request Certificates of Completion for their language courses.
Certificates are issued electronically upon request.
To qualify, students must attend at least 70% of their classes.
Communication
Program communication with students and parents is conducted primarily via email.
Approximately 1–2 days before the program begins, participants will receive information regarding:
• classroom locations
• instructors
• final program details
Students and parents should check their email regularly, including spam or junk folders.
