For many international students, entering a Canadian college or university requires more than language proficiency. Academic readiness, study skills, and a clear education strategy are essential.
 

The ILSC University Pathway Program is designed to help students strengthen their academic English and study skills, preparing them for successful transition into Canadian colleges and universities.

Through this pathway, students can study English at ILSC and, once admission requirements are met, progress to partner institutions without needing additional English language testing in many cases.

Program Overview

• Academic English preparation for college and university studies
• Flexible program duration typically ranging from 4–24 weeks depending on language level
• Development of essential academic skills including research, note-taking, presentations, and academic writing
• Academic advising and orientation to help students plan their pathway
• Support with selecting and applying to Canadian colleges and universities
 

Typical Education Pathway

Students may progress through the following stages:
 

Step 1 – English Preparation
University Pathway Program at ILSC (approximately 4–24 weeks)
 

Step 2 – Higher Education (Temporary unavailable due to the new regulation)
College or university program (1–4 years depending on credential)
 

Step 3 – Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) - (Temporary unavailable due to the new regulation)
Eligible graduates may obtain work authorization in Canada depending on program type and length.
 

Step 4 – Long-Term Career Pathways - (Temporary unavailable due to the new regulation)
With Canadian work experience, graduates may explore permanent residence pathways, subject to immigration eligibility requirements. Immigration outcomes are not guaranteed and depend on government regulations.

Students receive structured support throughout their pathway preparation.
