French Intensive Summer Camp for Teens
(Part of EduTravel)

Program Overview

The French Intensive Summer Camp for Teens at Vanier College is designed for students aged 12 to 17 who want to build confidence in French while connecting with peers in an engaging learning environment.

Through interactive and immersive activities, students develop their skills in oral expression, reading comprehension, and written production while strengthening their ability to communicate in French.

This program combines structured classroom learning with practical experiences, helping students develop their language abilities in both academic and social contexts.

Students may enroll for one to five weeks, depending on their availability and learning goals.

Learning Experience

From Monday to Thursday, students attend French classes on Vanier College’s green campus in Montreal.

Classes focus on developing language skills through a variety of activities designed to encourage participation, collaboration, and communication.

Each Friday is dedicated to a group excursion in Montreal, giving students the opportunity to practice French in real-life settings while discovering the city.

Students' language levels are evaluated during the first class, and groups are organized according to both age and language proficiency:

• Ages 12 – 14

This approach ensures that students learn in an environment suited to their developmental stage and language level.
